StuartMitchell: "Pulp-or Linear Programming in Python"
This talk will describe what Linear Programming is and about issues of creating an open-source python module for wider distribution. http://code.google.com/p/pulp-or/
DannyAdair: "Python Cookbook"
The start of a new lightning talk series - unless tomatoes and eggs come flying, who knows :-). Talks will cover practical solutions to many common Python programming problems. Inspired and assisted by ActiveState's Python Cookbook - cherrypicking done by me. Always followed by discussion.
Stuart's presentations will take about 45 minutes, Danny's about 15 minutes plus discussion.
Costs
Pizza will be ordered prior to the first talk. Please bring a contribution proportional to your projected hunger.
